Nick & Anika – Intimate wedding at Duurstede Castle

Nick and Anika's wedding was one filled with warmth, love, and togetherness. In the fairytale setting of Duurstede Castle in Wijk bij Duurstede, they experienced an intimate day, exactly as they had envisioned it. No grand fuss, but a relaxed atmosphere with their loved ones around them.

From the afternoon onwards, I was allowed to be there to capture their story. The first glances full of emotion, the intimate ceremony in the beautiful castle garden, and of course the loving moments with family and friends: everything came together in a day that felt like a fairytale.

What made this wedding so special was the combination of small and intimate with a grand sense of togetherness. Every detail—from the styling in the historic castle to the exuberant laughter on the dance floor—contributed to a report that shows who Nick and Anika really are.

I stayed until the late hours to capture the energy and the party as well. This created a complete picture of their day: from loving glances and small gestures to a dance floor full of happiness.
